A Message from the Diocese of Chichester
A video will be made available for this weekend on our website and socials featuring chaplains from across the Diocese reflecting on the ways in which Remembrance Day will be celebrated differently this year, along with a prayer for this time. Remembrance Sunday commemorations have been subject to a lot of uncertainty this week, with the decision by the government to impose new restrictions.
After it was initially suggested that all services would have to be live streamed, the government announced in the House of Commons on Monday that outdoor services could take place as long as they were subject to social distancing.
Resources available for parishes without a streamed service.
Chichester Cathedral will be streaming a Remembrance Sunday service. Which can be watched here or via the Cathedral website here.
BBC television will be broadcasting the national Remembrance Sunday observances from the Cenotaph. See BBC Television schedules for Sunday morning.
Songs of Praise on Sunday is on BBC1 at 1315 presented by Aled Jones featuring Remembrance Sunday hymns.
